We need not walk alone

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a national, non-profit, self-help organization offering friendship, understanding and support to bereaved parents and their families.

Our primary purpose is to assist in the positive resolution of the grief experienced upon the death of a child and to support grieving family members in their efforts to achieve physical and emotional health. Additionally, we provide information and education about bereaved parents and siblings to help others in our community to be supportive.

We're very sorry for your need to be here but we are glad that you've found us!

If you are a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult sibling, we extend our hands in friendship and our hearts in understanding and invite you to join us at an upcoming monthly meeting.

Our members understand; we've all walked the same path.

The Bluegrass Chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites you to attend our next Monthly Meeting on Monday June 15, 2009 at 6:30 pm. We will gather at the Hospice of the Bluegrass Center for Grief Education and Counseling at 2409 Greatstone Point Lexington, KY 40504.

In our continuing efforts to reach out to the bluegrass community, TCF Bluegrass will be hosting monthly meetings in Winchester. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday June 2 at 7 pm at Hospice East located at 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, Kentucky. Additional meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month in this same location. Please click here for driving directions.

Hospice of the Bluegrass is sponsoring several excellent programs in the upcoming weeks. Details may be found at www.hospicebg.org.

Save the date for the TCF Bluegrass Family Picnic on Saturday June 6, 2009 at 5 pm at South Elkhorn Christian Church. Please click the butterfly for details.
